Work it out Girl, Work It OUT
I'm not the most healthiest person in the world. I have my own personal list of problems, that I should have started working on years ago...Instead I was 21 and invincible. Nothing was wrong with me, if I didn't want it to be right?! Wrong! The doctors told me "Get to the gym, just walk everyday. Cut down on carbs. Watch your sugars. Be healthy. Put effort into yourself" and all I wanted to think about was "Let's party!"
I recently joined Anytime Fitness. It's a small little gym (at least the location that I go to is) in my neighborhood, and I freaking love it! I can't wait to get off of work and get changed and get to the gym to sweat off my day. Its so invigorating! !
I talked to the trainer a few weeks ago when I joined and he suggested that I just walk on the treadmill for a few weeks to get my heart back into the grove of working out. So that first week, I went one day. I was scared/intimidated/frustrated but I did it. I worked out by myself, and the feeling was amazing! You want to talk about happy?! I accomplished something that would finally benefit me! No one else needed to pat me on the back, because I was doing this for me!
Last week I went three times, and each day I did a minimum of 25 minutes on the elliptical. I really love this machine... It burns twice if not three times the calories that the treadmill does, and boy do I pour sweat when I'm on it. It's a great feeling! :) My first night, I honestly thought I was going to die, but then, the second night, I was craving it. By the third night, I was ready...and tonight, I'm going to be so excited...I'm already planning my work out songs and my pace!
This is just from one night last week...and anyone that knows me, knows I don't like to work out...but maybe it's something I grew into...because now I'm loving it! :)
